Little Tregue lies on a quiet Cornish country lane about a mile
to the west of the historic fishing village of Polperro, and is an
ideal
base for exploring the south east Cornwall coast and the Fowey estuary,
made famous in the books of Daphne Du Maurier. The Eden Project, Lost
Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock and many other National Trust properties
are within easy reach, and there are miles of coastal and country footpaths
to
explore.
The South West Coast Path passes only half a mile from Little Tregue.
There is a wide range of outdoor leisure and sporting activities
in the surrounding area: sailing, golf, cycling, fishing, diving, moorland
trekking. Nearby there are quiet coves, among these being the renowned
smugglers coves at Talland Bay and Lansallos. The sandy beach at Looe
is also close by as are many other quiet Cornish villages, busy
fishing ports and market
towns.
The self catering holiday accommodation offers open plan studio
apartments, sleeping 2/3, and a spacious family apartment with two
double bedrooms.
Parking
is off-road, next to the holiday apartments, and there is a patio for
relaxing barbecues and a 2 acre meadow. Pets and children welcome.
Little Tregue also has a small family run quiet campsite for
tents, tourers and caravans. Toilet and
shower facilities and electric hookups are available.
